DAILY MAIL ACQUITTED. London, April 4. A verdict for defendants was returned in the Le Bas versus the Daily Mail for alleged libel. Plaintiff. Sir Hcilley Le Bas, conducted j newspaper campaign against Mr. Lloyd George, paying provincial papers t'o insert articles. Defendant? attacked Le Bas, asserting that he would probably assist the enemy and corrupt the press.
