FALL OVER A CLIFF.
MAN'S NABEOW ESCAPE. A report was received by the police on Saturday ui;At that a man named Donald McDonald had disappeared from the Imt in which he lived with his mate, near the lupins just beyond Kawaroa Park, and it was feared he had fallen over the cliffs in the vicinity. In consequence of what was said, Constables Parkinson and Fahey went to the locality and after searching for upwards of an hour the man was found Ivine near the rocks with his coat over his head, about a quarter of a mile alouqthe beach beyond the hilt in which he lived. He had fallen over a cliff and dropped about 0 feet, but sustained no injury. Bern.; drunk at the time he wai taken to the police station and locked nn. and will appear before the court this morning.
