MINERS ACCEPT PROPOSALS. 90TTON MILLS CLOSING. Received April 4, 10.3 p.m. London, April 1. The Lancashire and Cheshire Miners' Federation, by a large majority, resolved to accept the Government's terms. A conference of the Master Cottonspinners' Federation and the Cardrodm Workers and Operative Spinners' Amalgamation at Manchester decided that all mills spinning American cotton will close from the 10th till the 28th inst, owing to the bad state of the trade. It is estimated that 100,000 operatives will be affected.
