MELBA'S . ENGAGEMENTS. Received April 2, 9.30 p.m. London, March 26. Madam Mclba has concluded arrangements for her opera and concerts seasons. She breaks the rule held for a number of years by opening an opera season at Covent Garden on May 5, and subsequently gives a concert at the Albert Hall. The latter is associated with Henry Woods' orchestral and classical concert at the Queen's Hall. Owing to shipping difficulties, Madam Melba is compelled to forego a concert engagement in America of the value of £IO,OOO. Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc.
