A II aw Ice Cup cricket match between Wanganui and Poverty Bay was conn*! inenced this morning in flue weather on a soft wicket and a heavy outfield. Yesterday saw a revival of the annual cricket matches between Newton King's employees and the reprewctativeß of Tikorangi,- which have been abandoned during the war years.
