AJANA MEN LANDED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, March 2ti. The Ajana troops landed this morning. _ The}' are mostly B class men, that is, not quite fit for active service. Included are 200 who have never been inaction- All are walking cases. Corporal Havtnell disappeared 'on March 19. The troops are in good health, except for intermittent outbreak of mumps, of which sven cases were removed to the hospital here. A fortnight after leaving England and until five days off the New Zealand coast heavy weather was experienced. Calls were made at Norfolk, ill Virginia, and Pitcairn Island. DRAFT 224. Information has been received by the Defence Headquarters, Hawera, that the following details ex. E.D..224 were due to leave Auckland by a special train at 4.30 p.m. yesterday.
