SETTLEMENT OF WAIHI TROUBLE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Waihi dispute lias been brought appreciably nearer settlement by the suggestion of the Waihi company that tlic Union place the names of the exempteed miners, about whom the trouble arose, on the roll of the Union without the men themselves making application, the. company agreeing to pay all the Union fee 3 and levies of the men concerned. A telegram has'teen received from the Union indicating that the officials are prepared to recommend the suggestion for adoption by the Union bers.
