POSITION IN ODESSA. BOLSHEVIKS HOLD WHOLE OF UKRAINE. Received March 20, 7.50 p.m. London, March 20. No official report of the evacuation of Odessa has been received in London, but it is confirmed that the Bolsheviks occupied Kherson and Nicolaeff after heavy fighting with the French troops. The Bolsheviks now hold the whole of Ukraine. The German garrisons there have handed over their arms to the Bolsheviks and fraternise with them.— Reuter. AUTONOMY OF UKRAINE. Paris, March 24. The Matin reports that General Petlura is now negotiating with Leniu for the autonomy of Ukraine and the return of General Petlura, who is fighting against the Poles and the Entente.— Aus.-N.Z, Cable Assn.
