CABLE CONGESTION.
USE OF PRIVATE CODES. Received March 20, 7-50 p.m. London, March 24. Tn the House of Commons, Mr Churchill, in reply to a suggestion, in view o£ the congestion of the cable lines, that the use of private codes with overseas possessions should be permitted for commercial purposes, said it was not permissible so long as it was necessary to maintain the censorship, but he promised to consider the suggestion that weilknown firms he permitted private codes outside ol Europe-—Reuter.
