MORE TO BE BUILT. Received March 2a, 8.5 p.m. Melbourne, March 25. The Minister of Shipping states that the Commonwealth Government has 110 intention of sitting down quietly and allowing itself to be squeezed out by a big shipping ring. It considers no country in the world is likely to suffer more than Australia through the action of a shipping ring. The extension of the shipbuilding programme of the Federal Government by the construction of four mere steel vessels will shortly receive Cabinet consideration. The vessels will be of 10,000 tons each, fitted with refrigerating space, and have a speed of 12} knots.
