WORSE CONDITIONS IMPENDING. ; NATION-WIDE STRIKE PLANNED. Received March 23, 5.5 p.m. New York, March 17. The New York Times's Rotterdam correspondent says a well-informed person states that Germany may expect worse conditions soon. The Berlin Reds have already planned a new nation-wide strike for March 25. Apparently, despite Noske's victory, the Bolsheviks gain strength throughout the country. —Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc.
GERMANY'S MILITARY. POWER. STATEMENT BY VQN KLUCK. Received March 23, 5.5 p.m. London, March 17. General von Khick, who is living in a small flat, interviewed, expressed the opinion that the reconstruction of Germany's military power was possible, but the interests of all were so intermixed that he could only wish for a long peace. —Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc GOVERNMENT MUST BE OVERTHROWN. Received March 23, 11.30 p.m. New York, March 18. Interviewed at Berlin, Maximilian Harden said the present German Government should and would be overthrown. The Kaiser could regain his throne if he was not a coward.
