CLYDESDALE SOCIETY.
A meeting of the Clydesdale Society of the Dominion of New Zealand (incorporated) was held in the A. rind J'. Association's buildings, Pahnerston North on Tuesday, Mr James Kn'g-ht (Folding) in the chair. It was decided to allocate the A. S. S. Co.'s cup to Auckland A. and P. Association for 191 a, owing to their show having been abandoned in 191 S. The secretary reported that the dies for medals had been cabled for from Scotland and were expected in a few days, when medals would be immediately struck and sent to the winners. Eight new members were elected and two resignations were received which were held over. It was decided to hold the annual meeting of the society in Palmerston North during the Winter Shew. A meeting if council will be held in Ash-burton on April 30th in order to get the South Island members together prior to the annual meeting. Mr A. Hunter gave notice of motton for next meeting a«? follows: "That tlio fee for the alteration of name of a registered animal as fixed by the editing committee on the lfrth July, 1918, be creased from 10s to £5." The finance of the society was examined and proved to be satisfactory.
