BOWLING.

To-morrow afternoon, on the West End green, the first match for the Gray trophies will take place. The trophieß have been donated to the club by Mr. C. Gray and will be competed for under the challenge system, any four members of the club having the right to form a rink and challenge the holders. On Thursday afternoon the following match will be played:—Hamilton, Holali, Lobb, J. D. Sole (sk.); .1. H. Thompson, Boswell, J. Johnson, F. J. Hill (sk.). Rinks skipped by T. Petty, V. li. Beal, and Fd. Newell will also compete for the trophies. The following will represent Inglewood against Hawera to-morrow at Ilawera:— Heel, Goller, J. Allan, Coad (s.); Longbotham, Olsen, Gudgeon, Leslie (a.); Martin, Surrey, J. Drake, Morton (s.); Henry, Lightfoot, Percival, Spurdle (s.).
