ENEMY REPATRIATION AND DENATURALISATION.

ReceK.d March 10, 5.5 p.m. Capetown, March lf>. The Enemy Repatriation nnd Dena'turalisatiori Bill provides that all interned aliens at November 11 be regarded as undesirables. If, subsequent that date, they have expressed a desire to return to their own country, or have not acquired domicile, or have said or done anything hostile, rendering them, in the opinion of the board, a danger to peace and order, the Minister may order their removal from the Union, after which they will ticdeemed to bo prohibited immigrants. Naturalisation certificates are made revocable, if there been an expressed desire to reVert, to former allegiance, or they have done or said anything endangering peace and order. The nationality of a wife, minor, or children is not affected by the revocation unless so desired. A board of three administers the Act.

AMNESTY FOR REBELS. NATIONALISTS OPPOSE REPATRIATION BILL. Capetown, March 14. In the Assembly, a Bill granting an Amnesty to the rebels of 1914 Was read a first time. The Nationalists strongly opposed the introduction of the Bill, providing for, under certain circumstances, the repatriation of every subject, and the revocation of naturalisation certificates of former enemy subject. Every Nationalist member presented a petition against the Bill.—Reuter.
