INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC.
INOCULATION ADVOCATED. London, March 11. A bacteriologist states that the prevailing epidemic of influenza is due to the Pfeiffer bacillus. The greatest atw. cess has resulted from inoculations with the pure Pfeiffer bacillus vaccine. He assorts that the pneumonia mortality is primarily due to the weakening effect of influenza. Inoculation has been proved successful in preventing influenza. The hospital staffs are now endeavoring to discover a serum rare for infJoeaß*. AUS.-N.Z. Cable Awn.
