EVERYBODY'S. LAST NIGHT OP ANITA STEWART IN "A MILLION BID." A specially selected programme was presented at Everybody's last night,, when, among a number of powerful items, the big drama, "A Million Bid," was screened for the first time. Anita Stewart, a favorite American actress, takes the leading part in the film, and she creates' a wonderful character about which the incidents of the play ebb and flow. The story is full of action, and a succession of stirring dramatic situations are evolved which are sure to succeed in chaining the attention of any picture attendant. The manner in which the play is staged is so lavish as to call for special remark, while.the acting of the subordinate characters is excellent. The supports include the thirteenth episode of "The Fatal and a Gaumpnt Graphic. To-night will be the final screening of this splendid selection.
THE PEOPLE'S. BIG DOUBLE BILL OPENS AT MATINEE TO-DAY. The enormous double star bill opening to-day at the People's at 3.30 will conclude its brief local season to-morrow night. In "North of 53," the first number on the programme, appears the gTeat favorite Dustin Fnrnum as "Roaring Bill," favorite of all the little ragamuffin boys. The play covers life in the groat North West and is full of incident for the whole nf its five reels. Tlic second star item presents the kin" of cowboys, Tom Mix, in "Fame and Fortune," a Western drama as swift and thrilling as the play of lightning in a summer sky.
