RETURNING SOLDIERS.

TARANAKI MEN ARRIVE. A further lajge contingent of soldiers recently returned from the front reached New Plymouth on .Saturday night, where they were accorded a cordial welcome home when the mail train arrived at the station. There was a large gathering of the public, and the t May or (MY. C. H. Burgess), Mr. S. G. Smith, UP-, and members of the Patriotic Committee greeted the men personally. The Citizens' Band was in attendance and played the men into the station, to the strains of "Home, Sweet Home," and as they stepped on to the platform cheers were raised by those awaiting them. The Pire Brigade turned ont with one of the motor eneines, decorated with bunting and a welcome sign, to receive Fireman Roch, who was due with the men. Following is the personnel of the draft:
