LEFT TO LEAGUE Off NATIOS&' Received March 9, fi.s p.m. Washington, \ The Japanese and Chineso ronresentatives have issued a statement to the press agreeing that the League of Nations trill settle the Oriental problems, but taking contrary views regarding the individual aspirations of their respective countries. The Chinese are re-asserting their claims to Eiaochow and denouncing the Japanese twenty-one demands on China. They openly charged Japan With preventing China joining in the -war in 1914-15.—Reuter.
