SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIPS. By Telegraph.—PreEs Association. Christehurch, March f>. The New Zealand swimming championships were continued to-night before a crowded attendance. Results:— 100 yards, school girls: Sew Zealand championship, open to girls of 14 years and under—Walroad (Auckland) 1, Brodie (Wellington) 2, Agassey (Christchnrch) -i. Won by a yard. Time 81 3-5 sec., which is eight seconds better than the previous New Zealand record.
100 yards intermediate New Zealand championship, for boys of 17 years and under—C. E. Low (Christehurch) 1, W. ■Sutherland (Christehurch) 2, H. Von stunner (Auckland) 3. Won by half a yard in the record time of 60 4-5 sec. 75 yards intermediate New Zealand championship, for girls of 17 vears and under.—G. Shand (Christehurch) 1, K. Busted 2, Walroad (Auckland) 3. Won by a touch. Time 58 1-5. 662 yards, ladies' interclub handicap. E. Buekwarter (Wellington) 1, Aggassey (Christehurch) 2. 440 yards, schoolboys New Zealand championship, 14 years and under.—N".
