The Petit Parisfen declares that if Britain insists on the destruction of enemy warships Franco mvst get a special indemnity to cover the cost of bringing the navy to its pre-war standard. Le Journal states that Britain does not need the aiiips, but France also lias a role to play on the sea, especially during the critical twenty years when tho spirit of revenge will be strongest.—United Service.
