COLOSSAL EXPENDITURE.,. NEWSPAPERS ALARMED. . London, March I. Newspapers are alarmed at the colossal expenditure, which is continuing at nearly seven millions daily, despite the demobilisation of two million men and the cessation of the manufacture of munitions.
