INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC.
DEVELOPMENTS IN AUSTRALIA. Received Feb. 26, 0.35 p.m. Sydney, Feb. 20. Steamers trading from Tasmanian ports are now quarantined for seven days at Sydney, instead of undergoing quarantine in Tasmania. Melbourne, Feb. 26. There were six deaths from influenza to-day. The Argus accuses the Board of Health of ignorance of the number of influenza eases, or else that half the number of cases are withheld from the public.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc.
