PLOT AGAINST PRESIDENT. NO EVIDENCE DISCLOSED BY SPANIARDS. Received February 26, 5.5 p.m. New York, Feb. 25. The Spaniards arrested did not disclose evidence of any plot against President Wilson.-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. WELCOMING THE PRESIDENT. BOSTON BEFLAOED.

New York, Feb. 24. The Australian Press Association representative was a spectator of the celebrations on President Wilson's arrival at Boston. The weather was ideal. sunshiny with light winds. The harbour was bedecked with flags and the city was a riot of color. Thousands crowded the streets and piers and, as President Wilson, Mrs. Wilson and the Presidential party stepped ashore, the populace cheered tremendously. Thousands of American soldiers and sailors and a large group of British naval officers participated in the parade through the streets to the Mechanics' Hall, where the President spoke. An audience of 7500 persons crowded into the hall and 100,000 people unavailingly clamoured for admittance.

President Wilson immediately established the link of understanding between himself and his audience by saying: "I wonder whether you are half so glad to see me as I am to see you." He gave a warning to his opponents when he said "I think a fight is sometimes good, but with those who oppose the great good of the world it would be an indulgence."

The audience seemed a trifle disappointed because President Wilson did not mention the League of Nations. Upon the conclusion of his speech Mr. Wilson immediately departed for Washington Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
