GISBORNE MOTOR FATALITY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, Feb. 26. There was a sad motor car accident yesterday in which Colonel M'Credie was killed. He had paid a visit to tha Morere stosk sales and was returning to hi<? station at Mnhiu by motor. The cat was driven by Mr Bowen, of Paritu, the other occupants being Mrs Gower and Miss Gower Upon reachins a comer of the road the party met a fivc-horw wagon, and to avoid a collision Mr Bowen swerved the car which capsized over a ban]:. The occupants were pinned under the car, and when extricated it was found that Colonel M'Credie was dead, but the other occupants were not-seriouslv hurt.
