OPENS TO-DAY. Probably the finest A. and P- Show wliicli has ever been held in TaranaUi will be seen in Hawera to-day and tomorrow. While all other shows have chronicled a decrease in entries, Hawera lias put up o record this year. Not only are the entries good, but the quality of the stock is excellent. Breeders are sending in from Palmerston North, Mastirton and Woodviile, while the cream of Taranaki will be seen in the showrinjjf. Competition has never been so great, and it is the general impression that judges will have a difficult task before them in making awards. Splendid entries are recorded in competitions, and tlie sheep-dog trials will be a fea- • tuve worth going a long way to see. Every inch of space lias been booked, and there will be attractions, for. old and young. Once again Hawera takes iti ph'ce as the leading show, and it, is safe to predict that no one who visits '.it this year will be disappointed. From f start to finish it will be a huge success, h ~
