FABULOUS ARMY PAY. RUSSIAN MONEY PBINTED IN GERMANY. Received Feb. 20, 1.45 a.m. London, Feb. 24. The Daily Express' Berlin correspondent reports that a high officer who escaped from Russia states that Bolshevik private soldiers are paid £6 hourly during the fighting, and the officers of Trotsky's private guard receive £2500 monthly. Russian money is being printed in Berlin, also a propaganda newspaper for circulation in the army. Russian prisoners in Germany are advocating an entente between Germany and Russia.—Aus. N.Z. Dispatches from Archangel state that o»e of the greatest Arctic journeys has been accomplished by Shackleton's men who brought reinforcements ta the troops fighting the Bolsheviks. The men travelled 300 miles at a temperature of 40 degrees below zero. PLOT TO KIDNAP GOVERNMENT. CONSPIRATORS DETECTED. Received Feb. 25, 5.5 p.m. London, Feb. 24. An Amsterdam message stales, in connection with the arrest of Spiridonova, that the Bolsheviks assert that the social revolutionaries plotted to kidnap the entire Government during the session at the Kremlin.
