Auckland, Feb. 2-1 In the Supremo Court Bololf Bernstrom, for attempted rape at Mercer, was sentenced to five years' hard labor; Douglas Grant, for false pretences at Feilding, having a bad record, was sentenced to two years' hard labor and declared a habitual criminal.
