WEST END DEFEATS FITZROY. In the Gilmour Cup match, played on the West Eiul green on Saturday tlie home dub had an easy victory, defeating tlie visitors at three out of four rinks, ,and on the total scores by 112 to 84. The green was in splendid order, and very keen, making play enjoyable, and the high standard of hospitality, for which the West End ladies have earned such an enviable reputation, was greatly appreciated by the visitors. GILMOUR CUP MATCHES. The Gilmour Cup competition was set in motion on Saturday afternoon, matches being played on the town green between New Plymouth A and B teams, and at West End between Fitzroy and West End.
