PTOMAINE POISONING.

Five cases of ptomaine poisoning wore admitted to the New Plymouth Hospital lust night after having been attended by Or. Walker at Victoria Boardinghouse. The names of the patients are: Mrs. M. Laurent (Normanby), Miss G. Roft', Mr Arthur Gilbert (an acute case), Mr. Alfred Seaton (all of New Plymouth), and Mr. James Blake (traveller for .7 Wilson and Sons, of Hastings). Most of the cases are progressing satisfactorily. No cause lias been discovered for the occurrence.
