Melbourne, Feb. 21. Further wheat sales have been made of 11,000 tons to Britain at 6s 2d and to Sweden of 7200 tons at- 5s 9d. DR. GILRUTH'S APPOINTMENT. Doctor Gilruth arrives at Melbourne shortly. His appointment will not be renewed at the expiration of hiß present term, which stipulates six months after the war.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. A SENSATIONAL TRAGEDY. (Rec. February 23, 5.5 p.m.) Melbourne, Feb. 23. A sensational tragedy occurred at a boarding house at Albert Park. Leslie Wilson, a returned officer visited the house where his wife and daughter had been staying for two years. He ran amok, firing a revolver and shot the landlady's husband killed his daughter and committed suicide. The wife escaped.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
