KAWAROA PARK.
ADDITIONS TO BUNGALOW. To meet the growing demands for Increased accommodation at the bungalow at Kawaroa Park, the committee has been compelled to undertake alterations and additions to the premises, especially in the kitchen, where the lack of sufficient room has been very acutely felt in connection with the annual Easter Monday picnic The scheme involves the removal of the present kitchen and ladies cloak room from the main room of the bungalow, the whole floor area of which will then be available for any function held therein. New offices will be erected at the rear of the bungalow. The kitchen will be 22ft x 17ft and in addition to the doorway from the main room there will be two serving slides outwards and upwards. The kitchen will be thoroughly equipped to deal with the greatest rush of business ever experienced. At the western end of the kitchen will be built the ladies' cloak room and conveniences, and there will be an entrance to these by an outer doorway behind the bungalow so that they will be available to patrons of the park at any hour of the day. The latest extension of the conveniences at the park will be greatly appreciated by the general public.
