THE COAL TROUBLE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Feb. 12. At a meeting of coal mine owners advice was received that the disputes committee had arrived at no settlement. Three delegates appointed were to represent the Association on the national disputes committee. This procedure is in accordance with the agreement made with the unions that a local dispute be first referred to, a local disputes committee, and that in event of disagreement the dispute to go before a national disputes committee. This committee is now being set up.
