"BANKERS AND BANDITS." BOLSHEVISTS' CONTEMPT FOR PEACE CONFERENCE. Received Feb. 14, 1.45 a.m. Stockholm, Feb. 12. Linovieff, the late Bolshevik Ambassador in Britain, is virtual dictator in Petrograd. Addressing the Petrograd Soviet on January 27, he stigmatised the Peace Conference at Paris as a gathering of bankers, bourgeoise and bandits. He declared that the Prinkipo proposal was a ruse of the Allies to weaken Soviet resistance. The Bolsheviks would send representatives to Prinkipo only in order to force the Allies to unmask, but would not discontinue their offensive operations.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc. JAPAN'S AID TO OMSK GOVERNMENT. New York, Feb. 11. Dispatches from Vladivostock state that it is reported from Omsk that the Government has aeceped the offer of troops, money and arms from Japan for the purpose of fighting the Bolsheviks. In return Japan is to receive coal concessions in the Amur district-Aus-N.Z. Cable Assn.
