CAPSIZE OF A LAUNCH. By Telegraph.-—Press Association. Whakatane, Feb. 13. A launch bound from Whale Island to Whakatane capsized when entering the boat channel at Whakatane Heads last evening, and Philip Orchard, contractor for stone from the island for the Whakatane harbor works, is missing, and is believed to have been drowned. Five Natives, who were also on board, reached tho shore. There was heavy easterly weather at the time, with high seas.
