THE DRIVERS' DISPUTE.' By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday The Drivers' Union decided upon a local truce pending the sitting of the Dominion Conciliation Council in Auckland AUCKLAND GROCERS' AWARD. Auckland, Feb. 12. The settlement of the Grocer's Assistants' dispute by the Conciliation Council provided that the minimum wage for men over 22 years of age should be £3 7s Cd per week. The drivers are also to Teceive £3 7s 8d weekly, other conditions being practically the same as in the old award. INDUSTRIES COMMITTEE. Wellington, Feb. 12. The Industries Committee of the House of Representatives concluded its initial Wellington sittings to-day. The committee will now sit in Christchureh and other southern towns before returning to Wellington. The North Island centres will be visited subsequently THE FIRST SNEEZE IS THE DANGER SIGNAL.
