The lady at first refased marriage on the ground that she had a bedridden aunt who was suffering ftfom paralysis of the throat, and that she assisted her as a nurse. Subsequently she admitted as a second reason that such a great man required a woman accustomed to a lofty station. Lord Kitchener constantly visited the lady, and corresponded with her in affectionate terras. Miss Hutchinson died in London on February 25, 1017-
