IMPORTANT DISCOVERY.
VIRUS OF INFLUENZA AND OTHER DISEASES. Received 6, 9 35 p.m. London, Feb. 4. High Army Medical authorities Sir Jolm Bradford and Captains E, V. Basford and J. A. Wilson—have reported the discovery of the virus of nephritis, trench fever and influenza. It is a minute globular cell of varying size and activities, passing through the finest illtera. Tt is understood that the investigations also resulted in the isolation of the virus of mumps, measles and typhus.— Aua.-NZ. Cable Assoc.
