AVAILABLE TONNAGE. By Telegraph.—Press Asiociatioa. Christchurch, Last Night. Tlio latest information which the Hon. D. H. Guthrie possesses respecting tho supply of overseas tonnage is that for the period January 15 to February 19 ten steamers will 'be available, and for the next month a similar number. The cool stores of tho Dominion, the Minister stated, are fairly full, but there was no reason to be at all very anxious about tho future. RAILWAYMEN'S GRIEVANCES. Taumarunui, Last Night. Mr. R. Scmple spoke here last nigh, to a large audience, when a resolution was passed: "That this meeting of citizens calls on the Government to concede the railway servants their just demands." Wiltshire, due at Wellington about January 20, has not reached Australia, and therefore the date of the arrival is uncertain'
