; FINAL VICTORY LOAN. • ' i STEEL SHIP CONSTRUCTION. Received Jan. 23, 5.5 p.m. Washington, Jan. 20. The Secretary of the Treasury announces that the final Victory Loan will be floated in April, for four, five, or eix billion dollars. Senator Jones, in the Senate, attacked President Wilson for his'failure to remove the restriction:; en the construction of steel ships on foreign account. Senator Jones declared that other countries were already securing the world trade, while the United States was not allowed to compete.—Aua. N.Z Cable Absoc.
