However, the war is now over and labor conditions improving, so that he feels justified in severing liis connection with the factory, and after some discussion tlie resignation was accepted with regret, appreciation being expressed of the great services rendered the company. Mr..Frank Ranford was elected to the position. With the retirement of Mr. R. Dingle the company lose a good man, one who always kept a keen eve on the company's business and works. That he should know something of the history of the factory is apparent when it is recorded he has been with them 21 year?, and it also shows the suppliers throughout the long years acknowledged his ability by electing him to the chairmanship for 20 jears, and now he goes out with the sense of having done his duty, carrying with hiin the good wishes of all for his future. He is pleased with the results of the journey and states that plans for the proposed High School are to be prepared, and, conditional on these being approved by the Department, Cabinet will make a grant towards the erection of the school.
