Walter Lauder was charged at tho Magistrate's Court ■with committing bigamy at Codtord ; England, where lie went through the form of marriage with Hilda May Roud, his wife, Mary louder, bein" then alive. Magistrate McCarthy said he did not know whether the Courts in t'iie Dominion had power to dual with the ease, as the alleged offeree was committed ic England, and accused was remanded to appear in Wellington next Thursday, bail being allowed.
