America, has offered to send two fullstrength divisions to Poland to assist the Polish troops in the immediate establishment from Danzig to Thorn, with the immediate occupation of Thorn railway station, throngh which the Polish and, eventually, Allied troops aiid supplies will he enabled to pass without interference. —United Service.

Warsaw was jubilant on learning that Ma>*shal Poch had ordered the Germans in Lithuania to permit Polish troops to pass through in order to resist the Bolsheviks.—Reuter

At Paris the Supreme War Council d'Seussed the question of sending military assistance to Poland. The inter-Allied command considers that the two Polish divisions which will be sent should be supported by an Allied detachment, enabling them to hold the Danzig-Thorn railway. America is of opinion that Poland needs more support and is willing to sen* an army corps.
