Tewßley, .the sale of the bore, bttild< ings, and plant in connection with the Taranaki oil industry was conducted thia afternoon by Messrs Smith and Halcombe. There wag a fair attendance and the property and plant were eventually sold for £2BOO. The bore is near Huiroa Station, on the Stratford-Ohura line, and is down nearly 6000 ft, and tin pTospects when tho bore fu stopped by reason of a breakage, wcro considered favorable. *** ""
