EXPENSES AND LOAMS.
STATEMENT BY MINISTER

In a statement published a few day# ago, the Hon. A. M. Myers, Acting-Minis-ter for Finance, stated that the New Zealand war expenses to November 30, 191S, amounted to £31,000 000, and the war loans to date to £61,000,000. the" interest and sinking fund to the latter sum being about £3,500.000. On being interviewed to-day. Mr. Myers stated that of the £<!4 1 OCO,000 borrowed £1,110,000 had be»)' raised at 3% per cent.
