POSITION IN BUDAPEST.
CITY TERRORISED BY BOLSHEVIKS,
New York, Jan. 5.
The Budapest correspondent of the Chicago Tribune sfkyp that the city is terrorised by Bolshevik riots and the rule of law and order is tottering. Hundreds of men were released from the prisons and, when they refused to return, the guards fired point-blank into their ranks, The Bolshevik movement is led by a Russian agitator, Delakun, who is reputed to control large sums to foster Bolshevism. He says that if further opposed a thousand Bolsheviks from tile surrounding provincial districts will invade the city. Many citizens fear wholesale massacres.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
