CHEESE.

The Imperial authorities have'advised the Dominion Butter and Cheese Committee that advances will now be pai,d on buttter and cheese after it has been in cool store for 14 days instead pf 28 days as in the past- This is regarded as a big concession, and will materially assist dairy companies finance.

SAILL\'G RESTRICTIONS REMOVED.

Wellington, Jan. 4The shipping companies have been actvised that the sailing restrictions have been removed, as the coast is now practically clear of mines. Steamers are reverting to their old running.
