CZECHO - SLOVAKS.
NATIONAL PROGRAMME,
HELP FROM ALLIES NEEDED,
Received Jan. 6, X 2.5 a.m.
New York, Jan. 4. The United Press correspondent at Prague interviewed .Professor Masaryk, leader of the Czeelio-Slovaks, who said Czecho-Slovakia's greatest problem is a dispute with the Poles and Germans. "We will give none the right to occupy our borders militarily. Bolshevism is a great danger, but order reigns in Czechoslovakia. There have been unsuccessful attempts to send Bolshevik agitators to make trouble.
"Our national programme includes separation of the Church from the State. As regards food, we temporarily need fats. In regard to minerals, our mines and factories have been utterly destroyed or robbed by Austria. We will demand reparation from Austria. Meanwhile we need help from the Allies to start our mines and faetories."—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc.
