EUROPE AND AMERICA. A PARTNERSHIP FOR RIGHT -SOUGHT. ' ' London, Dec. 29. President Wilson, when receiving the, freedom of the City of Manchester, said America was not interested in European politics, but she was interested in the partnership for right between Europe and America. America was interested chiefly in a world peace. If the future had nothing in store but the keeping of peace by the balance of power the United States would take no interest in it. They would join no combination of Powers which was not a combination of them all. ' PEACE PROBLEMS. BRITAIN AND AMERICA IN ACCORD. London, Dec. 29. Mr Lloyd George received American correspondents at Downing street. He declared that Britain and America ■were in complete accord on peace problems. There w?ts no disagreement on any of the main issues. He believed equal harmony would 'be found to exist with the other. Allies, and this was likely to result in an earlier peace than was anticipated.
