HEARTIEST CO-OPERATION. BETWEEN" BRITISH AND AMERICAN FLEETS. FRUITLESS LURES TO ENEMY. TO EMERGE FROM HIS MINEFIELDS. Received Dec. 28, 5.5 p.m. New York, Dec. 27. Admiral Redman, interviewed, said the co-operation between th» United States' squadron and the British fleet was of the heartiest and closest description. Admiral Beatty was a wonderful man, and of great ability., The British admirals sometimes controlled the American squadrons, -ujid at other times Admiral Redman controlled British luiit-?. There was no friction throughout all the operations. Frequent attempts Were made to induce the German fleet to come out, but always fruitlessly. Occasionally weak forces were sent to the German coast and other devices adopted to lure the enemy forth, but lie never showed outside his minefields. THE GERMAN SHIPS. CARRYING OUT ARMISTICE TERMS. Received Dee. 29, 5-5 p.m. London, Dec. 26. The British Admiral (Browning) visited the Kiel ports to supervise the carrying out of the armistice terms. During a conference he met Captain Muller, of Emden fame, but did not discover his identity until after the final conferenceAdmiral Browning met with interminable delays, but finally succeeded in compelling the German? to do as he wished The German warships were found la a disordered state, and the crews undis-ciplined.—Aus-NJZ.
