CHRISTMAS AND NEW TEAR HOLIDAYS. Christmas and New Year's Days will be observed as close holidays. On Thursday, December 26 (Boxing Day) the Post Office will be open in all branches, except Money-order and Savings-bank, from 9 to 10 a.m. The Telegraph Office will be open on Wednesday, December 23 (Christmas Day), from 10 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., and from 5 to 5 30 pm. On Thursday, December 20 (Boxing Day), and Wednesday, January 1 (Mew Year's Day) the hours will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 ]■ m. to midnight. The Telephone Exxchange will remain open continuously. Private Box Lobby.—Sunday hours will be observed on December 25, and January 1; usual limts on December 26 (Boxing Day). M:iils usually despatched on Wednesday will be v'loiiod on Tuesday nights, December 24 and 31, at 8 pm. On Decoinber 20 (Boxing Day) tho usual despatch of mails up to 8 a.m. will bo made.
